Our Mission
To enhance the provision of high quality primary medical services to the community.
The Adelaide Northern Division of General Practice will acheive this by:
- Promoting and supporting general practice to fulfill health needs of the community.
- Developing partnership which facilitate the provision of integrated health care to the community.
- Assisting general practice to maximise changes in the primary care environment by providing clinical and administrative support to increase operational efficiences and effectiveness.
- Enhance primary care accessibility for consumers.
- Provide quality education, training and programs to general practice, incorporating best practice models, which compliments other existing programs.
- Ensure highest standards of organisational operations and governance.

The ANDGP Board of Directors currently consist of 8 members; the members are made up of 5 general practitioners, 2 non GP representative, plus the Division's CEO.

MEMBERSHIP
Our Division has a total of 245 full members which consists of 174 male GPs and 71 female GPs and a total of 64 associate members which consists of 46 male GPs and 18 female GPs. The Division has 69 general practices with in our boundaries.
GPs working within our divisional boundaries are welcome to become a full member of our Division. If however you work outside our boundaries you are welcome to become an associate member.
Membership to our Division is free of charge and you will receive regular up to date information on various issues in general practice. You will also receive our Division's publications which includes the Northern Pulse E-News and our Annual Report. We also send out regular information regarding our education sessions.
Towards the end of each year you will receive an invitation to our Annual General Meeting and dinner.

All membership applications are subject to approval by the Board of Directors.
The Divisions of General Practice Boundary Maps have been updated to reflect the 2006 Census Collection Districts data.
